A mindful approach to your modern family’s needs.

Our Services

Play Therapy

Talk therapy can be intimidating for children. Play therapy allows them to express feelings through toys and play activities, a more natural form of expression, in a structured way and under the guidance of a skilled mental health professional.

Child Therapy

Just like adults, there are times when children and adolescents need expert help to navigate problems in their lives. If you have concerns that your child is struggling, meeting with a child therapist is an excellent step to helping your child get back on course.

Adolescent Therapy

Adolescents are forced to juggle changes to their environment, body, and emotions. Many teens are not fully equipped with the problem solving skills they need to properly understand and manage these life changes as they come. This can result in feelings of being overwhelmed, acting out, rebellion, stress, and general struggling. If you have concerns that your adolescent is struggling, learn more about how therapy can help them break the cycle.

Reunification & Family Counseling

Reunification counseling, or reunification therapy, is a type of family therapy that aims to re-establish and strengthen relationships, between a child and a parent, after a period of separation or conflict. Whether court ordered or voluntary, we have the ability in a collaborative, mindful manner, to bring families closer together and functioning at a higher level.

Collaborative Divorce

If you are preparing for a divorce but looking for a fair and less contentious method that keeps you and your spouse in control, Collaborative Divorce may be the best option for you. As a Collaborative Divorce Coach I help to guide couples through the divorce process, ensuring they maintain their voice and focus on finding a collaborative resolution.

Supervised Visitation

When council & courts require supervised visitation, Sam Sternberg, MSS LSW, a licensed social worker trained in court appointed therapy and high-conflict family systems, is available to assist in a comfortable, mindful and meaningful way.

During supervised visitation families are welcome to remain in our bright and comfortable indoor common areas, enjoy the games and toys in our lobby, play outside in the yard or walk, drive or ride the train to local shops and activities.

College Complexities- Emerging Adulthood

Young adults face unique transitions and challenges and often need support along the way. We have extensive experience working with young adults who are struggling at home, in college or post-college, or in everyday life yet hesitant to directly discuss with their parents.

Peaceful & Mindful Custody Exchange

Our office provides the ability for parents to drop off & pick up their children for custodial visits with limited interaction with one another & the least amount of stress & drama for the children in a comfortable and safe space, thereby eliminating the need for a police station or other public space.

Sleep & Toileting Behavior Coaching

Children often struggle to sleep well or independently and with mastering the milestone of toilet training. Older children may regress when dealing with anxiety and family or life transitions. We support parents to create and implement a plan to navigate sleep and toileting challenges and setbacks.

LCSW Supervision

Obtaining your LSW is an important step on the road to becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. If you are pursuing your LCSW, finding the right supervisor to complete your clinical supervision is important to your success. Shana Schwartz provides clinical supervision for LSW candidates seeking their LCSW.
